Laura Diamond

Ms. Diamond is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Travis County Women Lawyers' Association, American Health Lawyers Association, and College of the State Bar of Texas. She also is a member of the Austin Bar Association and has served as a Board Member of the Administrative Law Section since 2013.

Ms. Diamond speaks regarding dental regulatory and compliance issues to professional organizations and industry groups. She also speaks to fellow lawyers regarding the potential consequences of criminal actions on professional licenses. 

Laura Diamond joined Carls McDonald & Dalrymple, LLP as Of Counsel in February 2015. From 2005 until 2015, she was attorney with the firm of Riggs Aleshire & Ray, PC.  Ms. Diamond received a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from Concordia University at Austin in 1995 and her law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 2004.

Ms. Diamond's administrative law practice is focused on assisting individuals and businesses acquire and defend occupational license. She represents clients at the agency level (complaint, investigation, informal settlement conference) as well as before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). She advises dentists, nurses (RN, LVN), psychologists, social workers, counselors (LPC, LCDC, LMFT, LSOTP), day care facilities, home health care providers, cosmetology schools, barbers, air conditioning and refrigeration contractors, polygraph examiners, architects, engineers, hearing aid fitters and dispensers, audiologists, chiropractors, insurance agents and adjusters, automobile inspection stations, real estate appraisers, and individuals seeking licensure by the Board of Law Examiners.
